One thing we love about this configuration is that you get a nice RAM and storage upgrade. Instead of the base model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, this laptop has 24GB of memory and a 512GB SSD, more than enough memory and space to keep your machine running smoothly. And the M3 chip, while not the latest generation, will be plenty fast for years to come.

This is a laptop we reviewed a while back, and we deemed it was “simply the best” with a great performance boost over previous models, excellent battery life, an uber-light and slim design, and a stunning 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display. And while this a previous-generation machine, you’re not giving up much. Other than the faster chip, the main difference between the two machines is a slightly improved front camera.
